Profile

Emma qualified as a Barrister in 2001 and then undertook the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test to practice as a solicitor from 2004.  Emma is therefore dual qualified and is a Solicitor Advocate, thus having full rights of audience to attend any court.  Emma joined the family department of RL Edwards Solicitors in 2005 and is a founding director of RLE Law. Emma is the head of the Private Client department and specialises in contentious issues where disputes arise in relation to the validity of a will or disappointed beneficiaries.  Emma also specialises in elderly client matters and is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.  Emma is also involved in the local community which has included giving talks to local charities on powers of attorney and care home fees.

Emma is also a fluent Welsh speaker and certified Welsh speaking advocate.
