RLE Law chooses Age Cymru for charity drive

24/11/2011

RLE Law is proud to announce the launch of a year-long fundraising drive for Age Cymru.

Staff at RLE Law have set out to raise £1,000 over the next 12 months for the charity, which works to promote the interests of people over 50 in Wales.

To help kick off the fundraising activity, the firm's staff donned their daps for a sponsored Nordic Walk between Blaengarw and Llangeinor. The trek, which was completed in just under two hours, raised £250.

Emma Hardwidge, sole director at the firm, said: "We wanted to try something a bit different for our very first fundraising effort, and all the staff loved taking part in our Nordic Walk challenge. We've all been spurred on by the success of the walk, which meant we were able to start raising our £1,000 target for Age Cymru. Now we're all very keen to get stuck into our next fundraising challenge."

Ms Hardwidge added: "We are so excited to have chosen Age Cymru as our charity of the year and we're keen to help this fantastic cause, which represents older people and the difficulties they face, both in the legal field and beyond."
